01Does it cost anything?+
No. Everything is provided through NJ DVRS at no cost to you or your family.
02Will you get me a job?+
Pre-ETS and OSYES don't include job placement. What they do is get you ready: real skills, real experience, and a plan, so when the opportunity comes, you're the one who's prepared.
03I already left school. Can I still join?+
Yes. If you're 14 to 21 and have a disability, Out-of-School Youth Employment Services (OSYES) gives you the same five services, whether or not you're enrolled anywhere.
04What is DVRS?+
The NJ Division of Vocational Rehabilitation Services. It's the state agency that connects youth with services like ours. Referrals to Next Step go through your local DVRS office, and we can help you start that process.
05How do I get referred?+
Ask your school counselor or case manager about Pre-ETS, or contact your local DVRS office directly. Feeling stuck? Call us at (609) 521-8255 and we'll point you in the right direction.
06Do my parents have to be involved?+
If you're under 18, a parent or guardian signs off on services. Either way, you set the goals. This is about your future.
